Telehealth Therapy for High-Achieving Women

You're succeeding at everything. So why does it feel like this?

Successful by every outside measure, and exhausted in a way no vacation fixes. This isn’t a productivity problem. It’s a pattern, and it can change.

The harder you work, the more stuck you feel.

Maybe you’ve tried to push through it. You’re good at that. You’ve been doing it your whole life. But the burnout keeps coming back. The anxiety that hums in the background never fully goes quiet. The relationship patterns repeat in ways you can see clearly and still can’t seem to stop.

And underneath all of it is a quieter, harder feeling: that you should be able to handle this. That asking for help is a weakness. That someone with your drive and your accomplishments shouldn’t be sitting here wondering why everything feels so hard.

You’re not broken. You’re running on a pattern that was built long before you had any say in it. And no amount of grinding changes a pattern at the root.

That’s what we do here.

I help high-achieving women stop the burnout cycle for good.

I’m Dr. Angela Wilkos, a licensed psychologist working exclusively via telehealth with high-achieving women across New Jersey, New York, Florida, and all PSYPACT participating states.

I specialize in working with women who are succeeding by every external measure and silently struggling. Women in high-pressure careers, lawyers, executives, healthcare professionals, who have spent years putting their performance first and their inner lives last. Women who are stuck in toxic cycles they can see but can’t seem to break. Women who are done white-knuckling and ready for something to actually change.

My approach combines somatic work with evidence-based therapy, which means we look at both what’s happening in your mind and what your body is holding. Because the stress, the anxiety, the burnout, it doesn’t just live in your thoughts. It lives in your nervous system. And that’s where real change happens.

How this works

We connect first, no pressure

A free consultation to see if we're a good fit. You tell me what's going on. I tell you how I work. No commitment, no obligation. Just an honest conversation.

We find what's actually driving it

Not just what happened this week. We look at the patterns underneath the burnout, the anxiety, the cycles you can't seem to break, and we find where they actually started.

A Different Way Forward

Not just better coping strategies, but a real shift in how you feel, how you respond, and how you relate to yourself and the people around you. That's the whole point.

Who I Work With

Lawyers and Legal Professionals

The law demands everything. Relentless pressure, impossible expectations, and a professional culture that treats burnout as a badge of honor. If you’re a lawyer who is holding it together professionally and quietly unraveling personally, this work is for you.

Executives and High-Stress Careers

You make high-stakes decisions all day. You carry the weight of teams, outcomes, and expectations that never stop. And at the end of the day, you have nothing left for yourself. High performance shouldn’t cost you everything.

Burned Out High-Achieving Women

You’ve done everything right. And you’re exhausted in a way that doesn’t show up on paper. The burnout, the toxic cycles, the quiet feeling that something has to change. You don’t have to keep pushing through this alone.

What changes when you do this work

  • You stop dreading Sunday nights
  • The anxiety that lived in the background finally goes quiet
  • You recognize the pattern before you’re already inside it
  • You set a boundary without spending three days second-guessing it
  • You stop performing for everyone in your life and start actually living in it
  • You feel, maybe for the first time, like you are enough without needing to prove it

"My goal isn't to fix you. You're not broken. My goal is to help you understand the pattern, connect the dots, and build something different from the inside out."

Somatic therapy focuses on the connection between the mind and the body. Burnout, anxiety, and stress don’t just live in your thoughts. They live in your nervous system: the tension you carry in your shoulders, the way you hold your breath in hard conversations, the physical exhaustion that sleep doesn’t touch. Somatic work helps you understand and shift what’s happening at that level, which is often where lasting change actually takes root.

That’s one of the most common things I hear from high-achieving clients. A lot of therapy focuses on insight and coping without addressing the deeper pattern underneath. My approach is structured, body-informed, and always moving in a direction. You’ll never leave a session wondering what the point was. If previous therapy hasn’t worked, that’s actually useful information, and worth talking through on a consultation call.

Yes, this is a core part of my practice. I work with lawyers, executives, healthcare professionals, and other high-achieving women in demanding careers. I understand the specific pressure of environments where vulnerability is not an option professionally, and where asking for help can feel like a risk. This is a space where none of that applies.

Stress typically eases when the stressor does. Burnout doesn’t. If you’re feeling chronically exhausted, emotionally detached, cynical about things you used to care about, or like you’re running on empty no matter how much you rest, that’s burnout. It’s not a weakness or a character flaw. It’s a physiological and psychological state that responds well to the right kind of support.

Schedule a free consultation, or call (848) 219-0136. We’ll talk for about 15-20 minutes. You tell me what’s going on, I tell you how I work, and we decide together if it’s a good fit. No pressure, no commitment, no obligation.

You don't have to keep pushing through this alone.

You’ve spent a long time being the one who handles things. The next step is just a free 15-minute conversation. We talk. You decide if this feels right. No pressure, no commitment.
